Holiday Intensives
Emotional Regulation
We are currently offering emotional regulation intensives during the school holidays. The intensives involve multiple sessions in a week to help build and consolidate skills. ​Our sessions are individually planned in response to goals and concerns, they may include:

Identifying emotions in others and ourselves and how our emotions can change throughout the day

Identifying body clues, including our own body clues for big feelings

Understanding triggers or events can cause different emotions, and identifying specific triggers that cause big emotions for ourselves

Identifying ways to minimise triggers, including the build up of small triggers (stopping the balloon before it bursts)

Understanding the concepts of 'okay' and 'not okay' behaviours, including categorising our own behavioural responses

Understanding the link between our own triggers, feelings and behaviours
-
Identifying a range of regulation tools that can help our body feel better when we are feeling big emotions​
