About OT for me

OT for me was launched in 2018 by Victoria Read (nee Jarman). OT for me has been fortunate to have many families welcome us into their lives over the years and allow us to be apart of their child’s growth and development. We continue to support a lot of these families and we love meeting and creating connections with new families.

What do we do?

We work with children and adolescents with varying abilities. We work with children who may have a diagnosis of developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties, ADD/ADHD, Down syndrome, other genetic and chromosomal conditions, as well as children who may not have a formal diagnosis but are experiencing difficulties in their daily activities.

We can help with:

  • Sensory processing

  • Handwriting

  • Executive functioning and learning

  • Motor skills (including gross motor, fine motor and visual motor)

  • Activities of daily living (including dressing, meal times, toilet training)

  • Emotional regulation

  • Social skills

  • Independent living skills

  • Community engagement

Why choose OT for me?

We are passionate about our work and we love helping children and adolescents reach their potential. We listen to you and your concerns and create individualised programs to support you to work towards your goals. We use evidence-based interventions and strengths-based therapy to ensure you get the most out of our sessions. We strive ourselves on going above and beyond to not only provide meaningful supports but create a therapy environment which is fun and engaging for everyone.
